Shri Shikshayatan overall review

I chose this course because this was the most relevant course for my further higher education. The faculty is great, we have 2 to 3 extremely highly qualified professors per subject who take up certain subjects and teach them part by part to 6 sections of our batch. The exams were held at Calcutta University.

I have not opted for any internship opportunities provided by the college but they provide these very frequently like recently one of the Big 4's Delloite came to our college for their Graduate School Maverick which is a competition.

I am currently in my 5th semester, and I am guessing we will be eligible for campus placements soon, many companies visit our college for placements many students got placed in big 4's like KPMG and Delloite.

The fee per semester that we have to pay is Rs 30000 and the overall cost for three years is 200000 for bcom(Hons). I have not opted for any scholarship, but there are scholarships that you can apply for, information regarding scholarships provided by the college is listed on their website.

The annual fest held by our college is called Sreejan, and it is held mostly at the beginning of the year, but due to COVID, it hasn't been conducted in the last 2 years. The college has a huge library for all the courses provided there with strict return or fine policy, but the student number of books can be increased. Classrooms are neat and each classroom has 3 to 4 fully functional ACs. But the washrooms can be kept cleaner The co-curriculars and sports groups can be better.

The eligibility criteria change every year, the last cutoff for my year was 81%, The application process is pretty much straightforward, they upload their application form on their official site. The application process can take a long time with the verification process.
