As I was a btech Civil engineering graduate during my btech studies I was very much interested in transportation classes and I just wanted to explore more and more in railway, tunnel., and road construction that is why I have chosen mtech transportation to do some new contributions in the field of transportation ...

Fees and Financial Aid

As this a pure government college the tuition fees are fixed by the government and scholarships are provided based on caste and income...and there are no other fees other than tuition fees that we have to spend in college but at the time of admission we have to pay one time PTA funds

Campus life is awesome The campus is almost 80 acres and covered with full greenery ..always feel a positive vibe..the college always provides a peaceful mind for studies and all study materials that we require are available in the college library and the facilities like sports courts..tech fests all are really superb

Admission

I got admission to RIT based on the marks obtained in btech and the rank list prepared by the Directorate of Technical Education Kerala. so we have to apply for mtech on their site and the rank list is published based on our GATE score and Btech cgpa based on our rank they will allow us particular college based on our options chosen. it's all done by the directorate of technical education and after allotment, we can confirm the seat by paying the fees.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Data Science is a rising field in computer science. It has lots of oppurtunities in todays world and easy compared to other fields, which made me choose data science. The curriculum consist of various computer programming languages including Python, R and so on which are vital in the field of data science. There are also experienced faculties for teaching of the programming languages. I personally felt that lab hours are not adequate and also the available hours are also not properly utitlised by some teachers. At the end of each semester we have exams and results are published soon as the exams are over, no lagging compared to other universitites.

Placement Experience:

College offers lots of placements for B.Tech and MTech . Lots of comapnys are visited and lots of students are placed . Top most companies like L and T, ULCC, TCS, Microsoft etc are visited and they conducted Test and GD and select students accordingly

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities are good. As I understand each students get minimum 20 company interview chances. students are placeed in TCS, Johson & Johson, eependorf, cipla, infosys etc. i think some where around 50000 per month was the highest. lowest is 15 k i believe.

LIFE AT AMRITA: 2023 - 2025

Placement Experience:

Placements are mostly conducted with AMRITA school of pharmacy, and managed by the CIR team (They take care to develop and mould students from 1st semester in aptitude, English and soft skills). The package is, on average, between 3.5 - 5 LPA. The centre also has an opportunity to join back as JRF/PhD.
