Okh , when i got the addmision in 2010 ,, there was a exam in gujarat called gujcet ,,, i have appeared in that exam and got the 36/ 100 marks point in the exam The aggregate of mine in 12th sci was arround 65 percentThe real reason for selecting the college was it was the only college near my home city which would offer me a mechanical engineering (except govt. College ) ,, but after a week in college i realized that i was very lucky to get addmisioon in the college

The course curriculum was totally dependent on the governing institutions called gujarat technological institute (GTU). The course was divide into 4 years and 2 sem each year with approximately 6 subject per sem each having 5-6 credits ( means 30 credits per sem )Now talking about the faculty teaching us. Thats just a mirracle to find such brilliant faculty in all over gujarat who teach us the course Everybdy have thier own style to teach. Each have thier fundamentals cleared and there was no rush to complete the course. The aim was to teach or make learn engineering to the students Taking about some sir like nishit rathod or c.k.desai. They were just awesome at teaching and their class always floded with students All the faculty were almost compeleted their master's and 5 of them were phd with the hod having 15 years of insutrial and 5 year of teaching experince which was delivered at its best.

The intership term was a bit low. We had gone though many campany visits like sumul dairy. The visit were totally interesting with the concepts learning process also going on with fun. We had al types of permission like to visit the turbine of a hydro plant in ukai ( in running state ) The stipend part is a bit low one and only scholars would get it with that one.

The placement and the jobs part totally dependent on the GTU BUT AS A PART OF COLLEGE RESPONSIBLE TO STUDENTS we had many bharti mela or job fair organized at the institue were big enterprize like l&t , reliance, gail, etc came to see the students potentials Many of them were selected from the campus itself and having a settled life in the company I was not interested in the industrial line so called off many interview But one interview just came for me and i got selected as a teachinv assistant in the svnit,surat As of now i am pursuing my masters in charusat ,changa

The best part of the college was its was just a silent place to study ,, but during the festive season it was the most amazing place to visit We had technical fest , garba competition, cultural events , dancing competition and the biggest one was the air show of planes ( organized only in this college all.over gujarat) Every students has a right to participate in all th event and many of them participate in different events Now talking about the level of the events ,, the freshers party were like hell awesome The techinal events were the second best in the whole south gujarat (1st rank scet) , we always make robo racing track such hard and innovative that very few were able to pass it on .

Hostels -- no available PG -- would be easy available at around 10 km from the college on the most posh area of city ( piplod ) at a rent of 6000 per month with 4 people sharing it And taking about the food. Its surat guys dont even think negative about the food in dream also Food is always awesome here and at a reasonable cost.

The schorlship are on the govt. But you can the loans for the education with the help of the administered personal in the college As per govt all the scholarship were provide to the students I never had to been that govt quota so dont know about the process but yaa my frnds got scholarship from the college.

Campus life -- just a awesome weather all around the year to roam around in the campus ( dont ask further )Gender ratio -- about 60/ 40 was the ratio as per my view 60% girls and 40% boys Workshops -- we have lots of them organized in the institue The workplace about the workshop were awesome. We have large and diversited workshops in the college Cultural society -- the main cultural society in the college was local "patel's " but no raging cases and all other were also students were not partialized.Students diversity -- there were students from punjab , gujarat , and all about till kashmir ( the girl was just awesome )

Rating 6/10 for the alumni networksWe alsways get mail about the placements and jobs in the college We were always helped by the seniour students about any problem The weak point is about not notify us about the college function which happens in the college through mail.
