Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because it best suits my career choice. I want to enter the field of data and pursue Business Analytics. The faculties are highly qualified, I would give a round of applause to the Talewind Department. They are probably one of the best that any college could offer. In MBA/PGDM programme, the most important part is your personality as an individual and the Talewind Faculties are so well equipped with knowledge and interactive sessions that any student will be able to speak or present fluently in front of everyone and this plays a major role in corporate world. My review is based on my 3 months experience in the college and I am hoping it continues to be great as future unfolds.
Internships Opportunities
Various companies comes on college with internship offers from Semester 2 with offerings starting from Rs.25,000 and there are even opportunities for direct job roles after finishing internship. Top companies like Capgemini, Delloit, KPMG, etc. arrives in the college for internships and job offers.
Placement Experience
From semester 2 I think, the students are offered internships. The highest package offered was around 21 lakhs per annum and average goes around between 7,50,000 to 8,50,000. I cant really give all the details since I am still a student with only 2-3 months of college experience.
Fees and Financial Aid
My total fees for both college years is Rs.11,00,000 but I got 10% fee compensation as part of Sibling Scholarship. About the financial assistance, I didnt have to obtain any but college is willing to provide loans to the students who are in need of it. As for campus jobs, I cannot give any review as I am still a student.. But the overall ROI is really good for ITM Navi Mumbai when we compare it to other colleges.
Campus Life
The best experience in the college for me so far has to be their annual event called MELANGE. It was so fun and memorable that I will always keep it at the center of my heart throughout my life. All the batches in the college were given separate countries to represent through several events and in a finale we had to represent the given countries as a whole. College also offers extra curricular activities like sport events, fashion shows, speaking clubs etc.
Admission
Admission process was straight forward. I had to submit my MAT results. I registered for the PGDM programme on their website and within a week, they had me go through a filtering process with GD and PI. You will get the result of the interviews on the same day and you will be required to sumbit a seat confirmation fee right on the same day if you are selected, at least thats how it happened with me.
Interview Experience
I had already submitted MAT scores so I didnt have to write any test but I had to give GD and PI so I had to prepare for normal interview questions for PI session, as for GD, it went with the flow. The best part was that I got the interview results on the same date.
