Course Curriculum Overview
I decided to pursue a B.Tech in Biotechnology because I have always been captivated by the immense potential that lies at the crossroads of biology and technology. This university is known for maintaining a relatively favourable faculty-to-student ratio. It has put an emphasis on providing personalized education and fostering close interaction between students and faculty members. This university is known for maintaining a high standard of faculty qualifications to ensure quality education. These include Ph.D. or equivalent, master's degrees, industrial experience, research and publications and teaching experience.
Placement Experience

Fees and Financial Aid
University fees can vary widely based on factors like the program of study and level of education with an annual increase of 5% from the second year. Scholarship-Dean's merit list: There are two types of lists. According to CGPA, if the student is in the top 3% of the university, he/she will be offered two-fifths of a semester's fees. If the student is in the top 3% to 10% of the university, the student will be offered one-fifth of a semester's fees.
Campus Life
The annual cultural fest in this university is called "Kuruksastra" and usually takes place in the month of May. DAKSH the international techno-management festival of Sastra University, is an annual event comprising a myriad of events involving all trades of engineering. Amenities in classrooms include desks, chairs, whiteboards or chalkboards, projectors and possible technology for online presentations. To promote excellence in sports, the campus has been constructed and equipped with billiards tables, badminton courts, a basketball court, table tennis and carrom boards. Besides all these, soccer, tennis, cricket etc also attracts many students.
Admission
Eligibility of the course: It is to be noted that as per the eligibility of Sastra University for B.Tech, about 70% of seat allotment will be based on the JEE main score of the candidates and the remaining 30% will be based on fixed marks as it is on 10+2 or equivalent. Application forms, application fees and application dates can be found on the official site of Sastra deemed to be a university. The college's fee structure could have been presented with more clarity and precision.
