NIT raipur overall review

Nit Raipur is a college of national importance. I chose the electrical engineering branch in my college. It is among the well-known nit. It has good placement and exposure. According to my rank, it was a good choice for me. It has a 1:6 faculty-student ratio. faculty members are very supportive of students. Most of the faculty members are Ph.D. holders and graduate from IIT, so it provides better research and exposure opportunities. In a year, we have 2 semesters. In one semester we have to give a mid-semester exam in mid of the semester and an end-semester exam at the end of the semester, so we have 2 mid-semester sem and 2 end sem exams in a year. In exams, the end sem exam is more difficult to clear. Due to relative grading, you have scored good marks.

We get different internship opportunities from the first year . We get both paid and unpaid internships. Different companies like Google, Flipkart, Adobe, Tower Research, TravelTriangle, etc. Companies require basic DS+ knowledge of JAVA and CPP. you need to do some projects in web development etc.

Students can apply for placement from the fourth year. A total of 101 companies came for placement some of them are Amazon, Google, Wipro Adobe, Info Red, and many more. 57 lpa is the highest placement from the IT branch. About 10.3 LPA is the average placement for the non-circuital branch and about 15.6 LPA for the circuital branch. 738 students get on-campus placement About 85% of students are placed. After graduation, I will apply to a different company as a full-stack developer. I will also apply off-campus by getting referrals from seniors and teachers.

The annual fee of nit Ripur is about 135000. Which includes tuition fees, examination fees, and other fees. You will also get a tuition fee waiver according to your category and income. Students belonging to open, EWS, OBC NCL categories whose annual income is less than 1 lakh get full fee remission and those who have annual income less than 5 lakh get 2/3 tution fee remission.SC and ST students get full tuition fee remission. You can apply for different scholarships such as NSP, ffe, and Dr K. K . Sugandhi scholarship, etc. You can do some freelancing work in your second and third years. You can also do some paid internships.

Aavartan and Samar are our annual fest, they are generally conducted in January and February. Eclectika is our technical fest. It is conducted in February. It has different sports grounds some of them are football ground, hockey ground, cricket ground, basketball court, badminton court, and volleyball court. It has a yoga hall and also a gym. We have a central library in which you will get the required books and journals. It is available and you can also issue the books using your library card.

You will get bed, table ,chair and lan connection in hostel.you will get regular room cleaning. The food quality in mess is decent .you will mostly north Indian food.Morning breakfast are good with different varieties. You can apply for hostel you will get hostel according to your jee mains rank in first year and according to your cpi in 2nd ,3rd and 4th year. Hostel fees is about 50000 for one year.

To get admission for BTech degree in Nit Raipur you must have passed the 12th exam with a percentage above 75%. You have to take the jee mains exam, in which you have to secure a good percentile. After your JEE result, you will have to apply for josaa and csab counseling which will lead you to join the college. In the counseling process, you get reservation according to your category,you will also get a reservation for your home state. To get the reservation you must have a valid caste certificate.
