Best College of Andhra Pradesh

I had taken EAMCET exam and secured around 11000 rank. When i was in my 7th standard i saw the computer for the first time in my life.

College is affiliated to JNTU Kakinada. So the curriculum is JNTU B.Tech's curriculum with "Distributed Systems" and "Pattern Recognition" electives.

We had a third party vendor who managed the whole college internship and mini project, project related activities.

I am a 2010 pass out, just then industry started recovering from 2008 recession and started hiring freshers. We had TCS, Infosys, Virtusa, HCL technologies came for on site campus recruitment. College had trained students well to take up the interviews with numerous mock interviews and seminars.

Annually college celebrates a tech fest "Maithri". Every year one department will own the fest and manages. Maithri is a 3 day Technical and Cultural fest with almost 50+ colleges participating.

As long as my knowledge goes there aren't any scholarships that college provides or promotes. but you can avail educational bank from any nationalized banks.

Campus was great and gardens were very well maintained. Campus has got a green eye. We used to have regular workshops, and technical and cultural fests.

College should really improve in this aspect. We never had any alumni and met our senior students who left the college. I would suggest to have a strong alumni network and some get together events.

As we followed JNTU curriculum, we used to have 3 lab sessions in a week. We had a great and sufficient lab infrastructure and equipment. As long as you enjoy the labs they are not hectic.

Most of the faculty were Masters and Doctors (PhD). There were few faculty members who are not up to the standards and not able to control and teach the classes.College should maintain its standards in recruitinng and maintaining a strong faculty.
