Course Curriculum Overview

Aeronautical engineering has a wide scope of getting high salaries by merging their innovative ideas and skills in one field, and good scope abroad also. There is a high demand for aeronautical engineers in India and across the world. More specific aeronautical engineering topics you may cover in the first and second years include an introduction to aerodynamics and an introduction to structural analysis. Aeronautical Engineering is not difficult if the candidate has a dream to build a career in aviation engineering, 8 semesters in 4 years.

Companies like CISCO, Ola, DE shaw, Samsung, Reliance Ford, Walmart, and Hyundai are some of the top recruiters of Anna University. Projects are conducted in every colleges for students in the 3rd and 4th years.

Placement Experience

The activity of preparation for placement will start in the seventh and eighth semesters on the engineering campus. Cisco, Ola, DE Shaw, etc. companies have made offers. Anna University's highest package during 2022 placement is INR 36.50 LPA, an increase of more than 75 % compared to 2021. Further, the placement rate recorded during Anna University Btech MBA placement in 2022 was 44% and 85% respectively. Plans to get a good job in a company or Abroad.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many private aeronautical engineering colleges in Tamilnadu but there are only two top aeronautical engineering colleges in Tamilnadu MIT Chennai and Regional Campus Tirunelveli. UG and PG regular courses students' annual parental income below 2 lakhs. For SC/ST students annual parental income is below 2.5 lakhs.

Campus Life

All Engineering college conduct their annual fest every year to relax students and the graduate ceremony is also on that day. Books are available in the library and also given by the college. colleges provide sports activities to students to improve their extracurricular activities and relax students.

Admission

Candidates must have a valid GATE Score with a qualifying score for an assistantship in the appropriate discipline of Engineering or they must have a recent TANCENT score that is conducted by Anna University. Application forms can be obtained online from the TANCA and Anna University website. Candidates can apply through this for admission to a variety of UG Engineering programs, including BE degree programs. Every year a state-level admissions process is carried out.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

My Review

Mcet is one of the college witch started in the mid of 2000-2005, I choosen ECE as it has the combination of Technical and Communication papers. I do not entertain people to join this college since it gives nothing other than collecting your fees. They will show case students who got ranks only because of their hardwork and with fake placement detailing. I did not ask anybody before joining the college and later I regretted but now I have secured a job in IT sector and getting enough pay to live....Read More
