I have a great preference towards Karnataka Central University because it is one of the career points for me touch you my destiny in future and I like the where that college provides and trying to provide the facilities for us..

Being an aspirant of Central University of Karnataka I have attended the exam CUK CET .conducted by Central University of Karnataka and there was no interview process to join the college and I am pursuing currently BA economics.

Course Curriculum Overview

The pattern of Curriculum design for us is very effective and I like the course design for the BA economics studies by the Central University Union and it was enjoyable with that friendly course and curriculum.

Internships Opportunities

This is also as of the placements because internships also not that much known to the students those were interested can pursue The Internship and they need to find their own source of internship and the stipend has a great variation sometime times the students won't get any stipend also.

I don't know what percent of students get placed into companies but the students forgets placed always need to take the role care to get the placement from the companies and the college does not issued any placements to the students and slowly the colleges striving forward to achieve replacement regards.

The fees very much affordable and then reach of all the students who are studying at Karnataka Central University and the sea is about 10500 for a semester..

As of now we have only some extra curricular activities opportunities and University is driving a height excel and to give more opportunities to the students in terms of extra curricular and cocurricular activities.

The hostel facilities are provided very well within reach of every student all the facilities will be available accept the drawback that the universities more distant from the main city of Gulbarga..

I don't want to mention anything about exams because I don't like any examination culture..

The faculty are great and I owe to them for the experience and patience. the methods they follow to teach us very reliable knowledge from the day today world r are really awesome..

A good college for starting your new journey

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible to sit for placement in their final years. The companies which comes for the placement are deloitte, goldmanSachs, amazon and many more reputed companies. And they do make many offers. The highest package reports around 30 LPA and the average goes on around 3 to 4.5 LPA. Around 70-90 percent get placements. My plans is to pursue higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a bachelor of arts degree in criminology, psychology and english optional. The branches of criminology and psychology are upcoming in India in the present time. Course taught is revelant and in present. It is regularly updated. I chose tge course mainly due to criminology. Various aspects of the subject is covered in 6 semesters such as forensic, ballistics, cyber, laws, victimology etc. They do take us on field visits. There is one mid sem exam and one final exam. There is record work as well as assignments given at regular interval. The difficulty level is medium.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements towards the final semester of their course. Currently, I have only been using the help of my faculty for internship opportunities, since I am not looking for placements. But they have connections with big names in the communication sector, and they often have personalities coming in to give talks and interact with the students. A great number of students opt for placements and approximately 90% of them do end up getting posted at really good companies. Others choose to continue with higher education. My plan after receiving my degree would be to take up a diploma in literature in the UK, while simultaneously finding myself a position at a good publishing house there.

My college experience

Placement Experience:

From my seniors, I hear that 20/30 % of students from our college get placed. But now being in my final sem I know the reality. For covid and lockdown, the placement sector has been badly hit. Only a handful of companies came this year (5/6 companies). 4/5 people from our batch are placed but no placement for the big chunk of people. From 5th sem students become eligible for placements but in 5th sem, no company came to our college for placement this year. Only in the 6th sem, the placement cell started. Companies that visited till now ( some of them came to take interns and didn't offer full-time jobs) 1) Clevertize, 2) Social Panga, 3) Robert Bosch GmbH, 4) Saatchi & Saatchi, 5) Publicis, 6)PR Pundit, 7) McKinsey, 8) Edsol Edtech, 9) Momo Media, 10) MSL, 11) Genesis BC, Offers: 1.5-3 LPA (average). I plan to send CVs personally to companies through LINKEDIN and other job search platforms because the college hasn't provided us with good placement offers as claimed.

My experience of CUK

I applied for a few Central University based on my entrance marks. But i couldn't able to make into other colleges due to shortage of marks. When i got selected into this university, the first thing that attracted me was, the varied section of students which gives a platform to explore about various cultures.
