Course Curriculum Overview
The course covers a wide range of subjects while highlighting the fundamentals of computer programming and networking. Logic, algorithms, abstraction, and computability are only a few of the concepts covered in Computer Science. Including software engineering, networking, distributed databases, information processing, programming languages, and various other topics.
Internships Opportunities
Mistral conducts a selection process for the internship of students at NEC either in the 5th or 6th semester. In Phase 1, training for a minimum of 50 students is provided in the 5th or 6th semester as per the requirements of industries. In Phase 2, a selection process is conducted and training/Internship(non-paid) for the recruited students in the 7th semester on their emerging areas of the industries is provided.
Placement Experience
Almost 90% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 8.4 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Cognizant, Zoho, Wipro, etc. Almost 245 students get internships in some companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Placement Centre strives to achieve 100% placements year on year. The students are also motivated and equipped to participate in the Campus placement programs. Renowned companies with attractive salary packages are invited to the campus recruitment drive. Companies that are part of on-campus placements are from the Software and Core Engineering industry.
Campus Life
The Fine Arts Club caters to those students who have an aptitude for music or other fine arts. Students are encouraged to participate in inter-collegiate and other competitions in fine arts. Our college chapter of the Indian Society for Technical Education, a professional technical body that aims at imparting quality education to the student community, was established in the year 1988. About 150 faculty members of our college have registered themselves as life members of this society.
Admission
Candidates must have passed class 12 with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry in order to be eligible for the TNEA. In order to apply for the examination, candidates must have received a minimum of 45% in their Class 12 grade. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility requirements can fill out the TNEA application form.
