Entrance Preview

I got 41 marks in the URATPG-2014 entrance for LL.M. Course. I chose this one because I am passed out from University Five Year Law College which is also a course available in University for Five year law

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is absolutely good as it provides you Master's degree in Law.

Internships Opportunities

I have done internship during my Five year law not during LL.M. In five year, I have done internship at many places one of which is Paras Kuhad and Associates where I got 3000? as stipend for my one month work.

Placement Experience

Job opportunities are better in LL.M. as you can apply for lecturership jobs after completion of your course

There are not much extra curricular activities in LL.M. But in Five Year law College many college events are organised in which students plays a very important role. Many events like debate, paper presentation, skit competitions, moot courts has been organised continuously by the college.

Alumni network is not that much but we students are continuously in contact with each other.

Placement Experience:

Since LLM is the master degree and its only one year program so the students get eligible for placement in same year only. The course have 2 semesters so the campus placement starts in the second semester.

Placement Experience:

The college has very good placement but the fact is also that most of us after completing the program decides to opt for personal practice because there is a lot more opportunity but then also the college offer placement opportunity and during our time i.e in 2019 almost the highest package was around 15 LPA and the average salary offer was approx 8 LPA. Legal firms like AZB & Partners, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Desai & Diwanji, Khaitan & Company visited our campus for the placement. The college also offered foreign placement opportunities.

ALS has been a life changing experience

Admission:

The entrance exam,1st stage-written,2nd stage-interview, dates vary, examination generally happens in the month of July or August, gave examination and then waited for the result, whoever succeeds in the examination will get a confirmation through the email immediately.

Rajasthan University Best

I live in Jaipur so I basically chose it because it is the nearest to my house. I didn't apply to any other college, I only applied to Rajasthan University and I got admission in it. I had a great percentage to get admission in whichever college I wanted . There is no specific admission process in my university.
