SFI with wide recognition in the industry

I got very much intrigued by the people who took our interview during the admission process. The task they give was to show us our thinking process and how they would improve it in a better way. They gave us their piece of mind and it was like I want to learn more about it. The passion of joining the course gets doubled or tripled this way.

I have a general aptitude test and a design aptitude test followed by interview. The test was good and easy. I do not remember my score. The interview went well. I chose the course because i want to get into fashion Designing. I got admission on the merit and interview basis. The admission cell guys took my interview and checked all my documents. They asked me all about fashion and why I wanted to pursue fashion and make it as my career. They gave me a small task to check my thinking process. The interviewer were very good and they gave me the idea of how they will teach us in the classrooms.

The course shall be instrumental and highly developed and up to date with the required skills and abilities and confidence that is needed by the student to be prepared for the employment in the industry. The entrepreneurial, as well as professional opportunities or the student, pursue higher education in this field. These are the few areas where the student goes after completing the course.

I am a first year student and yet to be placed. The college promotes 96 percent placements but we are yet to see that. The seniors are satisfied with their placements. Looking forward to whats in store for us. Our internships will start next year in march.

"There are so many fashion and design events where the college takes part. The college is involved in these events either by becoming a sponsor or a participant or the host of the event. A lot of influential people comes to these events to share their experiences and how we can improve and grow in our field. The students get to learn a lot during the events and through these events they are able to improve their networks and grow them at an exponential rate. The students are given a lot of authority and responsibility to organize these events and make sure that no one has any complaints with it. "

The fee structure is not much expensive. children can afford such fees. Its not more than 6 lac for 4 years. They don't charge extra for any programs.

The classrooms involves no textbooks and includes a lot of experiential, experimental and engaging learning and knowledge from some of the best influential names and people in the industry. They use a lot of tools in the classrooms and all the latest equipments are available so that they can study design and implement it without any problems.

Hostel facilities is provided by the college. Available at the college where the student can live. The students have the access to the college 24/7 and can use internet at high speed and can eat tasty and healthy food from the canteen. The security around are offered by the college as well.

I am in touch with the senior batch of my course. They are extremely helpful and share their experience and learning from the course and are always up for any kind of advice or help we need..

We have not yet given our exams. Here we do not have written exams in all the subjects. There is jury in which we have to present what all we have learned in the semester and then get marked accordingly.

They bring in their industry experience and make the class really interactive. The faculty will give you a lot of work to do where creativity is involved. They keep a regular check on the students creativity level to understand that if the student needs to improve and how they can be given maximum exposure of the industry they are so keen to working in. Very supportive and friendly faculty."
