Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I took this course as I am interested in the world of technology and AI. The course curriculum has been recently updated to the latest industry standards. The faculty-student ratio is very good since there are only 72 students in a classroom. The faculty here is one of the best you can get. Most of them are Ph.D. scholars with international achievements. They are recruited by the UPSC board itself. There are 2 class tests taken, one before mid-semester exams, and one after. Passing these exams is easy if you study decently, and if you're consistent, you can easily score good grades. The seniors here are extremely helpful and will give you all the guidance you want.

Internships Opportunities

4

A lot of companies offer internships in the second and third years. From tech-related jobs to nontech. One can easily get an internship with a stipend of Rs. 20,000 or more. You can even earn from the competitions organized by the societies regularly.

Placement Experience

5

All placements will be conducted on the main campus, so there are a lot of opportunities. Almost all big tech companies visit the campus for recruitment. The average package is 15+ LPA and the highest is 1+ Cr. More than 90% of the students get placed each year. Internship opportunities are also in abundance. Placements are one of the reasons why students join this college. Many students from the 2nd year start getting internships and from the 3rd year, they can sit for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for the first year is Rs. 2,29,000 (as of 2023) which increases each year. The total fee for the 4 years is a little less than Rs. 10,00,000. There is a hostel fee for hostels as well. You can avail of many scholarships if you fulfill the criteria. Please contact the university since I do not have enough knowledge on this topic. There is also a scholarship if you top your batch/class.

Campus Life

2.5

The life at the East campus is average at best. The campus is small and there is only one playground. However, many things are under construction. There is a hostel being built adjacent to the campus, all classrooms are getting air-conditioned and wifi is also being upgraded. There are a lot of societies being run by the students, for the students. All students, from the Main, East, and West campuses can join them.

Admission

To get admission you have to take the JEE Mains Exam and participate in JAC Delhi counselling. After getting your desired seat in the counseling, you have to pay the fees and go to your allotted college for document verification. There are seats reserved for category and female students. The process is overall very smooth and one should not face any difficulty.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
