Remarks

No, I didn't take any entrance. It was a merit seat based on my 12th cutoff mark. The application form and fees will be there on the official website of TNAU inside the brochure, the fees from this year has been updated to an extra 10000 but it was 60000 and 58500 for us for the odd and even semester respectively. I don't have much knowledge about reservation seats.

I have been inspired to biotechnology since my 12th grade. I would love to go with any science field. Seeing from the perspective of a biotech graduate now has developed and enlightened me in various ways both professionally and personally. In our college and biotech department, we have an excellent and knowledgeable staff. we have semester twice a year and everyone can pass through that. so passing is not a concern my concern is all about getting a grade of 8.5 and above.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 58500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

actually, we biotech students and engineering students pay a self-supporting fee of 40000 aditionally but for agriculture and horticulture students it's just 20000. This is a little hard on us, the scholarship also varies for different caste like BC get little whereas SC gets more. see scholarship must be equal to all right? Or it should be based on marks and not on caste? The scholarship we get is from the Government of India

Campus Life

The college life is good. We have functions like sangamitra, sports dat, bioconcorrenza and other department events too. The library is very excellent with a good source of books. classroom facility is good.

I got my veterinary seat in tirunelveli and also the process was already delayed and at that time I had TNAU final round of counslling and my seat was also confirmed.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

My college - TNAU

This is the top universities in Tamilnadu. 12th mark is enough for the admission in this college. The cut-off mark is about 195 for MBC Category and 197 for BC Category and 189 for SC Category. And for engineering Student the cut-off is about 178. For the other state students they need to write ICAR exam for the admission. I choose this college because of the top 1st in Tamilnadu.
