Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty members are very good and friendly. I always wanted to be a doctor so I chose this course. There are 3 or 2 semester exams and one university exam every year and 75% attendance is mandatory

Class Size: 250Course Fees: INR 9000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are 4500 per semester around 9000 yearly. Students can avail of different government Scholarships. After 4 years of studying and passing the exam we join as interns which is also a part of the course and the incentive is 30000

Campus Life

The annual fest is Lobelia conducted every year in September. All medical books are available (both old and new edition ) in the library and for medical journal computers with internet connection is provided

Admission

You will find an online form every year for the NEET exam. you have to score good marks and have to sit in the counselling process and choose RGKar there. if you have enough marks to get a seat in this college. You will be allocated a seat. then you have to come to college and take admission with fees

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is completely based on NMC new guidelines. Along with the theory classes where we know the structure and their working in dissection we actually see them on cadaver . Lectures should be more interesting as it's get boring to literally listen the concepts for first time like a story and at the end we forget everything

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medical field is a really good field in my opinion to serve humankind and learn about science of nature and life!the curriculum is a little overpaced and there are 19 subjects which are taught in a timespan of 4.5 years which is a bit hectic! There are 4 professional exams and 9 semesters which have pretty good difficulty and assess our skills and education. We have regular examinations in around 4-5 months each. Only thing id like to change in the curriculum is better assessment of many topics which are taught pretty well but aren't examined much leading us to waste our time in focussing on them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, mbbs is very hard and long term process. You will be bored in 1st year because you cant get real clinical cases. But in Final year, 3rd Prof Part 2, you will get huge pressure. Because there are total 11 subjects, you should study in final year. It is a great burden for all. I'm not satisfied with Nmc curriculum. They are not thinking about students. They are implement their rules in chilled ac room. But they don't know the real scenarios.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite planned and great and has a lot of advantages in having a clinical and learning diagnostic approach to various diseases. One area where the curriculum can improve is by having more practical classes rather than theoretical classes. The exams are quite difficult but are quite planned to make you understand the clinician and the passing percentage is 50 percent.

Rg kar medical college hostel, education and college life review

You have to clear NEET UG cut off for our college which varies according to your category . Cut off is high as our college is third most sought college in WB. You need to qualify for the NEET UG exam. With an Air of around Rs 10000-13000 to get into this college. All details of admission are available on the MCI and WBMCC websites.
