Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because being a doctor has been my dream since childhood The student-faculty ratio is adequate enough The professors who take our class are highly qualified and have done post-graduation or super specialization in any stream Semester exams are held 6 monthly and one university exam is held once yearly since the passing criteria are 50% in each paper. therefore it is retry difficult to pass the exams
Fees and Financial Aid
Since it is a govt. Medical college fees are reasonably lower. we had to give 4500 for 6 months which is pretty less compared to medical colleges from other states. As such a job is not available I. The campus but we have to do a mandatory internship which is paid
Campus Life
Annual fest - Lobelia occurs in the month of September Academic fest- therapeu took place for the first time this year where many workshops and seminars took place it took place in August Classrooms - fully air-conditioned with a projector for sharing slides. Comfortable chair and table is also there Sports - various inter and intercollege competition is held throughout the year online or offline both are held. Apart from that there are various dance societies, singing societies, debate society are also there There are various FB pages for each society
Admission
We had to crack the NEET UG examination for admission to the college. the cutoff was pretty high and is increasing day by day. To be eligible for the course scoring marks more than the cutoff value is mandatory After the exam, an all-India rank was published. A few weeks after that west Bengal rank was given and accordingly admission took place
