Course Curriculum Overview
Being a doctor was my childhood dream. I Dreamt of holding a stethoscope every day and I finally achieved that in this college. The ratio of faculty and students is quite good but there's always scope for improvement. All the faculties are well educated and qualified. There's always a prof exam at the end of the year after which we qualify for the next year.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are provided by the Government of West Bengal after Final Year Results. The internship is of 1 year duration with stipend of 33000 every month which gives us the real life clinical experiences needed for being a doctor.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of the course are quite low compared to all the medical colleges across India which is almost at 9000 rupees per annum which is a very helpful thing for us. There's an internship programme provided by the government of West Bengal at the end of the final year for another whole year and the stipend is 30000 per month.
Campus Life
Lobelia is our annual fest which is the biggest medical fest in Eastern India. There's also an academic fest which happens just before Lobelia which is called Therapeuo. There are always programmes occurring throughout the year like Saraswati Puja, Metamorphosis and Reunion. All the latest book editions and journals are available at our library.
Admission
The admission was very good and the people were very polite and helped us in every way possible. I entered the college via WBMCC Counselling with scores of NEET 2020. The campus is really good with all the basic amenities available.
