Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the course because being a doctor was always my passion. The faculty who teach us are good in number, we have sufficient teachers in every department. The teaching method is mainly a dual interaction using visuals and slide presentations .We have 3 semester exams and 1 final exam
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee in government medical colleges is 9000 yearly which is quite low as compared to other medical colleges in India. The scholarships provided are mainly made keeping in mind the backward class of society. We have a JBNSTS Scholarship.
Campus Life
The annual fest of our college is Lobelia and our academic fest is Therapeo and it is conducted in the month of September. All books and journals related to medical science are available in our college library. Amenities in the classroom are a screen with a projector and other accessories which benefits our learning procedure. We have a drama society as well as a fashion society and a research society.
Admission
The course offered is MBBS. It is a 5.5-year-long process. Over 15 lac students had appeared for the NEET - UG Exam and only a few thousand were selected in this process. Those who cleared the cut-off for state quota get admitted to premiere government medical colleges. The admission process is mainly via online mode through various rounds and spot registration.
