Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very nice and the faculty members are student-friendly. To be a doctor was my childhood dream. Faculty: student-1:15. All our teachers are highly qualified with in-depth knowledge of their subjects. All of them have complete post-graduation in their field. Term exams are conducted biannually and it is not that much difficult to pass.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are available on campus and in many hospitals around the college. It is quite friendly and less toxic. It gives opportunity to grow yourself. The stipend during our internship is also very good as compared to other colleges. It is around 30000 thousand.
Fees and Financial Aid
It is around 9000 per annum(2 semesters). There is as such so hike in our course fees because of the assistance of the government of West Bengal. It is quite affordable. There are many kinds of scholarships available for students to studies eg. Vivekanand scholarship. Didn't apply for jobs.
Campus Life
Campus Life is quite happening. We have our annual fest - Lobelia in September. Medi fest - therapeuo in August. There is a college reunion and a hostel reunion. Freshers- k/a Metamorphosis. All kinds of books are available in our library (latest editions). Classrooms are air-conditioned with all kinds of modern computers with a projector and others. All kinds of sports facilities are available like table tennis, Badminton, Cricket, and Football. There are literary clubs research clubs sports club drama societies available in our college.
Admission
The admission process was very simple and easy. It was quite student-friendly and seniors and college staff members were always there to help us with the admission process. Yes, we have to take NEET to get admission to this college for MBBS courses. And at the time of my admission, the cutoff was around 615-620 marks. Eligibility for the course Pass with min 60% Mark in the Science stream. The application can be found online. The application fee was around 2000. All reservation benefits of ST SC OBC are available. The admission process should be online.
