- The area around the college is congested
- The area around the college does not have adequate drainage system thus there are instances of waterlogging during rains
- The metro station is some distance away from the college so walking to it everyday is a bit of an hassle
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because of the interdisciplinary nature of the curriculum requiring a large knowledge base encompassing many subjects. The faculty: student ratio(1:10) in my opinion is adequately balanced and not detrimental to learning. The faculty are all highly skilled doctors with a zeal to teach in a continuously improving manner that is on par with current standards The term exams were taken in a timely manner and were moderately difficult to pass.
Internships Opportunities
We have opportunities for internships at various establishments in the surrounding area including the college itself, we get to understand the workings of each department of the college from the grassroots in this internship.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees have been 4500 for each semester and have not been hiked due to the college being affiliated with a government University and thus supported by it, this helps us as students as we have to spend less time worrying about the financial side of studying in this course.
Campus Life
The annual fest is called Lobelia which is conducted in the month of September, which makes life at campus certainly very fun in the months leading up to it of course the fest itself is a splendid experience every year becoming the highlight of that year surely, the libraries are very helpful, there are many books available and multiple copies available so students can read sought after books without waiting. There are many types of sports and extracurricular activities held on the campus which as well as social groups and clubs such as drama clubs are also functional.
Admission
The eligibility for this course is decided by the marks scored and the rank obtained in NEET UT(all India exam which can be taken by biology students after class 12 exams), the cut-off is decided each year by the conducting authority The admission is processed was very streamlined and hassle-free, it was made ever easier with the facility for making all admission related payments online before the date of admission its elf thus there are no improvements I want to see.
