- The area outside the college is very congested.
- The metro station is a little far from the college .
- The bus stoppage is also very far away from the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose MBBS as it is a noble profession and always wanted to become a doctor since my childhood. Faculty: The student ratio is very good. All our faculties are highly qualified and advanced. The teaching method is also very good. The exams are held regularly with proper instructions.
Internships Opportunities
The internship is offered in our college RG Kar Medical College and the hospital itself. It is also provided at Bagbazar and Amdanga Hospital. The stipend provided is Rupess 28000 per month. Projects can be ICMR,SAMSA,AMSA.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees per year are Rupees 9000. The fee structure is affordable. Scholarships available are the Swami Vivekananda scholarship,pmss, etc. We get the chance to do an internship for 1 year with a stipend of Rupees 28000.
Campus Life
Life on campus is very nice. The senior-junior relationship here is very good. The infrastructure is decent. The annual fest is named Lobelia for 5 days. A medical fest named Therapeuo is happening starting this year and it's very helpful. The library is very nice and many books are available.
Admission
The eligibility criteria for entering to MBBS course are as, firstly you need to have science as a stream with subjects physics chemistry, and biology in classes 11 and 12th. Secondly, you need to score up to 50% marks in class 12th for appearing in the National eligibility cum entrance test. The qualifying criteria in the NEET exam is the 50 percentile. The application form for the NEET exam is available at the website wbmcc. The application fee was Rupees 2000. Improvement in the admission process can be to conduct the whole process online mode.
