Likes

The reading area of Library is quite spacious with ac.
The store building of our college is one of the most well built building in our campus.
The anatomy lecture theatre is present in our college which is one among the very few present in the entire state.

Dislikes

The dump yard outside the emergency gate.
Food quality in canteen can be a bit better .
Few more washrooms should be there in the campus for the patient parties

Course Curriculum Overview

I was interested in forensic science, this course has the subject Forensic Medicine and Toxicology so this was the initial reason to opt for this course. Faculty: student is quite nice, and teachers are willing to guide interested students in their research projects as well. Exams are timely with 3 internal exams and one University exam.

Class Size: 250Course Fees: INR 9000 per year

Internships Opportunities

One year of rotary internship after the completion of Third year Part-2. Seniors are quite helpful they guide their juniors to learn various maneuvers hands-on. The patient load is quite high as our college is a tertiary health center, so we get to learn a lot during our internships.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of the government medical College is very affordable it is 4500 per semester due to financial aid from the government of West Bengal, there are no such fee, hikes in our college. People from all economic strata can afford education here. Even the hostel fee is 12 rupees per month.

Campus Life

Annual cultural fest-Lobelia -September. Annual academic test -Therapeuo-August. Books are available in the library as per our needs. Ac lecture theatres are there with AV projects. Cricket, badminton, football, and table tennis are the few mentionable sports played by students here.

Admission

Entrance exam -NEET ug conducted by NTA. Minimum of 50% in class 12, Biology as a compulsory subject. The application form was available on the official website of NTA. I have no reservations -category-UR( unreserved). The admission process is quite smooth so no such improvement do I want to see.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is completely based on NMC new guidelines. Along with the theory classes where we know the structure and their working in dissection we actually see them on cadaver . Lectures should be more interesting as it's get boring to literally listen the concepts for first time like a story and at the end we forget everything

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medical field is a really good field in my opinion to serve humankind and learn about science of nature and life!the curriculum is a little overpaced and there are 19 subjects which are taught in a timespan of 4.5 years which is a bit hectic! There are 4 professional exams and 9 semesters which have pretty good difficulty and assess our skills and education. We have regular examinations in around 4-5 months each. Only thing id like to change in the curriculum is better assessment of many topics which are taught pretty well but aren't examined much leading us to waste our time in focussing on them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, mbbs is very hard and long term process. You will be bored in 1st year because you cant get real clinical cases. But in Final year, 3rd Prof Part 2, you will get huge pressure. Because there are total 11 subjects, you should study in final year. It is a great burden for all. I'm not satisfied with Nmc curriculum. They are not thinking about students. They are implement their rules in chilled ac room. But they don't know the real scenarios.

Why to choose AIIMS Kalyani over other Medical colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite planned and great and has a lot of advantages in having a clinical and learning diagnostic approach to various diseases. One area where the curriculum can improve is by having more practical classes rather than theoretical classes. The exams are quite difficult but are quite planned to make you understand the clinician and the passing percentage is 50 percent.

Rg kar medical college hostel, education and college life review

You have to clear NEET UG cut off for our college which varies according to your category . Cut off is high as our college is third most sought college in WB. R.G.kar Medical college, The home for the Best Future Doctors.

You need to qualify for the NEET UG exam. With an Air of around Rs 10000-13000 to get into this college. All details of admission are available on the MCI and WBMCC websites.
