Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I wanted to be a doctor therefore I was admission to this course. The faculties are very good with students and are very experienced. All faculties are doctors themselves and are excellent in their field. The student-faculty ratio is fine it depends on the department overall it is 1/10 The exams are done routinely every year. And the teaching is so good it takes simple efforts to pass the exam. The faculty here makes sure everyone understands the concept clearly and takes extra effort for students facing any kind of problem. The exams are based on all the concepts teachers teach in class.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

There are 19 departments in college in which every student gets a chance to work they get 1momth experience in every department. The internship happens on campus and in nearby localities or in places like Baghbazar, Aamdanga

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are very feasible for even middle-class families. The fee amount is very less only 9000/yr. The fees didn't hike every year it has been constant for the last few years. The course is very cheap. There are various scholarships and programs conducted by the government for students who are good at studies and based on other criteria.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus life is very happening. We have 2 annual fests one cultural fest LOBELIA and one medical fest THERAPEOU. Both fest are conducted very systematically and it is a lifetime experience to attend them. The campus offers all types of sports opportunities and extra curricular activities are conducted regularly. The college makes sure everyone gets a chance to enhance their interest. The classrooms are well equipped with AC fans smart classrooms. There are many groups in college. Literary team. Sports teams of football and cricket both for men and women. There is a whole special group for conducting the fests and they work together as a team and make it happen in the grandest way possible.

Admission

You are eligible for this after clearing NEET-UG. The National Entrance Eligibility Test (NEET) takes place annually and anyone after the 12th board can submit the form. I personally didn't take any reservations so can't comment on that. The admission begins after allotment of college via NEET. The admission process was easygoing. You have to report to the college with specific documents and it's a one-day procedure.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is completely based on NMC new guidelines. Along with the theory classes where we know the structure and their working in dissection we actually see them on cadaver . Lectures should be more interesting as it's get boring to literally listen the concepts for first time like a story and at the end we forget everything

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medical field is a really good field in my opinion to serve humankind and learn about science of nature and life!the curriculum is a little overpaced and there are 19 subjects which are taught in a timespan of 4.5 years which is a bit hectic! There are 4 professional exams and 9 semesters which have pretty good difficulty and assess our skills and education. We have regular examinations in around 4-5 months each. Only thing id like to change in the curriculum is better assessment of many topics which are taught pretty well but aren't examined much leading us to waste our time in focussing on them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, mbbs is very hard and long term process. You will be bored in 1st year because you cant get real clinical cases. But in Final year, 3rd Prof Part 2, you will get huge pressure. Because there are total 11 subjects, you should study in final year. It is a great burden for all. I'm not satisfied with Nmc curriculum. They are not thinking about students. They are implement their rules in chilled ac room. But they don't know the real scenarios.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite planned and great and has a lot of advantages in having a clinical and learning diagnostic approach to various diseases. One area where the curriculum can improve is by having more practical classes rather than theoretical classes. The exams are quite difficult but are quite planned to make you understand the clinician and the passing percentage is 50 percent.
