Course Curriculum Overview
I want to become a doctor that's why I have chosen MBBS. The Faculties have done their MD and MS. The teaching methods of faculties are very nice and understandable. In every 3 months, a semester is taken and the passing mark is 50%.
Internships Opportunities
After completing 4 years of study 1 year internship is compulsory in our college. Internships can be done in the college itself. A stipend is also given during the internship. After one year internship one year housestaffship can also be done.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost for mbbs study is 4500 per semester. The fees for study in the college are accurate and managed by students. The hostel fees are also very low and affordable for students. Till now I have not gotten a Scholarship.
Campus Life
The annual fest of R.G. Kar Medical College is Lobelia. It is conducted in the month of September every year. There are so many books available in the library. All kinds of sports and extracurricular activities are arranged on our campus.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is moderate. Meal is also available in our hostel and food quality is good. An application form has to be filled out and submitted to the principal for a hostel. Students whose address is far away from college can easily get a hostel.
Admission
I am a 2nd year mbbs student at R.G.Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata. Entry into a Medical College is done by cracking NEET UG. The application form, application fees, and application dates are given on the official website of NTA. The admission process is fine and smooth.
