Course Curriculum Overview
I joined the course to fulfill my dream of being a good Doctor serving society. In lecture theatre, one Professor teaches the class. In the practical classes, one Professor is allotted for every 25 students. The respected faculty are quite good and efficient. The teaching methods are quite student-friendly. The semester exams are conducted 2 times a year in regular intervals. It tests us on the knowledge and concepts of the subject.
Internships Opportunities
Our internship program lasts for 12 months with the different postings in the departments. The place of internship is our college, located in Amdanga and Bagbazar. The internship is allotted so as to train the students in clinical scenarios and hospital environments.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for each year is Rs 9000 which can be given each month or in one installment. There have been many government scholarships to help the students and no hike in fees. After 4.5 yrs study each student is allotted an internship with a salary of Rs 30000.
Campus Life
Lobelia is our annual fest conducted in September Therapeuo is our annual academic fest conducted in August. There are enough books and journals in the library. The classrooms are air-conditioned and well-lighted. There are many extracurricular activities, sports, and literary activities. Drama society, dance society, and music society are also present.
Admission
The students qualifying for the NEET exam having biology along with science are eligible for admission. Application is done at WBUHS website and later document verification is done at the college campus. It would be better if the admission process is online.
