The college campus is clean and the classrooms are big and provided with AC.So when all students of the batch attend it is comfortable.
The garden in front othe PJB building is also beautiful
The seniors of the college are very helpful.The batchmates are also friendly.

Dislikes

During rainy season water accumulates in front of the college.
The metro station is kind of far and we have to walk

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course as I have been wanting to become a doctor. Faculty: student ratio-1:9. The teaching of the faculties is really good and they are very helpful. We have trimesters and a final year-end exam.

Internships Opportunities

The college itself provides internships at various places. At RG Kar Medical College and Hospital and Baghbazar. During the internship, we came across various patients and got to know about them. These experiences help us to learn a lot of things.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee per semester is Rs 4500. Since the semester fees remain the same it is also beneficial for the students. Students can also apply for scholarships based on their merits. The scholarship provides money enough to pay the college fees.

Campus Life

The name of the college fest is LOBELIA in the month of September. We also have an academic fest in the month of August called Therepeu. Libraries are filled with various books and journals, we can issue those by using our library cards.

Hostel Facilities

A room provided is shared by 4 individuals. There are bathrooms shared by the individuals on the floor and a balcony on each floor. The hostel food is clean and good. For the hostel, we need to apply where our details are taken. Based on the distance from the college, the hostel is allotted.

Hostel Fee: INR 144 per year

Admission

Any +2 student studying Science is eligible for the course and has given NEET with a score above the cutoff. I found the application form from the college itself. All the details remaining can be seen on the college website.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is completely based on NMC new guidelines. Along with the theory classes where we know the structure and their working in dissection we actually see them on cadaver . Lectures should be more interesting as it's get boring to literally listen the concepts for first time like a story and at the end we forget everything

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medical field is a really good field in my opinion to serve humankind and learn about science of nature and life!the curriculum is a little overpaced and there are 19 subjects which are taught in a timespan of 4.5 years which is a bit hectic! There are 4 professional exams and 9 semesters which have pretty good difficulty and assess our skills and education. We have regular examinations in around 4-5 months each. Only thing id like to change in the curriculum is better assessment of many topics which are taught pretty well but aren't examined much leading us to waste our time in focussing on them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, mbbs is very hard and long term process. You will be bored in 1st year because you cant get real clinical cases. But in Final year, 3rd Prof Part 2, you will get huge pressure. Because there are total 11 subjects, you should study in final year. It is a great burden for all. I'm not satisfied with Nmc curriculum. They are not thinking about students. They are implement their rules in chilled ac room. But they don't know the real scenarios.

Why to choose AIIMS Kalyani over other Medical colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite planned and great and has a lot of advantages in having a clinical and learning diagnostic approach to various diseases. One area where the curriculum can improve is by having more practical classes rather than theoretical classes. The exams are quite difficult but are quite planned to make you understand the clinician and the passing percentage is 50 percent.

Rg kar medical college hostel, education and college life review

You have to clear NEET UG cut off for our college which varies according to your category . Cut off is high as our college is third most sought college in WB. You need to qualify for the NEET UG exam. With an Air of around Rs 10000-13000 to get into this college. All details of admission are available on the MCI and WBMCC websites.
