Course Curriculum Overview

Doctors are noble workers for society. So, it is my childhood dream. Faculty: student ratio is 1: 10. The Teaching faculties are very good and helpful. Every year, there are 2 term exams and one can pass the exam with proper studying.

Class Size: 250Course Fees: INR 9000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is very affordable. Fees are Rs 4500 per semester. Because of government support and help fees are not hiked every year. Students can get the swami vivekananda scholarship under the government of West Bengal.

Campus Life

Life on campus is awesome. Lobelia is an annual fest. The library is well maintained and all essential books and the latest journals are available. Classrooms are cleaned and maintained. Alap is a drama group that is run by students.

Admission

Eligibility - 12th pass from science stream and have to pass the neet ug exam conducted by National Testing Agency. The application form is filled up at https://neet.nta.nic. in/. Application fees are 1700 for unreserved candidates.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medical field is a really good field in my opinion to serve humankind and learn about science of nature and life!the curriculum is a little overpaced and there are 19 subjects which are taught in a timespan of 4.5 years which is a bit hectic! There are 4 professional exams and 9 semesters which have pretty good difficulty and assess our skills and education. We have regular examinations in around 4-5 months each. Only thing id like to change in the curriculum is better assessment of many topics which are taught pretty well but aren't examined much leading us to waste our time in focussing on them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, mbbs is very hard and long term process. You will be bored in 1st year because you cant get real clinical cases. But in Final year, 3rd Prof Part 2, you will get huge pressure. Because there are total 11 subjects, you should study in final year. It is a great burden for all. I'm not satisfied with Nmc curriculum. They are not thinking about students. They are implement their rules in chilled ac room. But they don't know the real scenarios.

The course curriculum is quite planned and great and has a lot of advantages in having a clinical and learning diagnostic approach to various diseases. One area where the curriculum can improve is by having more practical classes rather than theoretical classes. You have to clear NEET UG cut off for our college which varies according to your category . Cut off is high as our college is third most sought college in WB.
