College campus should be a little large.
Distance from one of the hostel to college is little bit more.
Metro station from college is someway far.

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to be a good doctor as I have come from a very poor and backward village and I have to serve them well as there are no proper health facilities in our surrounding area. There are a total of 9 Semesters in 5 years of this course. faculty-- 1:10, Qualification of the faculty Professor, PGT (MD).

Class Size: 250Course Fees: INR 9000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship seat availability is great. The internship is done in Bagbazar and Amdanga along with the college campus. A Stipend of approximately 30k is provided per month for the internet. The internship facilities are very good. A seminar is also provided.

Fees and Financial Aid

Normal fees per semester are 4500. So a total of 40500 Rs., Besides this book cost, many materials like bonesets cost further. Scholarship-- Aikashree scholarship by WB government and NSF Scholarship provided by a foundation named North-South.

Campus Life

The annual fest is Lobelia. Academic Fest, Therapeuo Around the month of September, these two fests are conducted. All types of books regarding this course are available in the library. Lots of Sports and extracurricular activities happen here.

Admission

You Should pass out class 12 with the Science stream. Then you have to apply for the All India basis admission test NEET and have to crack it to be able to get admission. Application form is provided at college on the date of admission. If you cracked the NEET exam, then there are no fees for application. The application date is announced by the State counseling authority WBMCC on their official website. Reservation benefits are available as in the NMC guidelines.

The course is completely based on NMC new guidelines. Along with the theory classes where we know the structure and their working in dissection we actually see them on cadaver . Lectures should be more interesting as it's get boring to literally listen the concepts for first time like a story and at the end we forget everything

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medical field is a really good field in my opinion to serve humankind and learn about science of nature and life!the curriculum is a little overpaced and there are 19 subjects which are taught in a timespan of 4.5 years which is a bit hectic! There are 4 professional exams and 9 semesters which have pretty good difficulty and assess our skills and education. We have regular examinations in around 4-5 months each. Only thing id like to change in the curriculum is better assessment of many topics which are taught pretty well but aren't examined much leading us to waste our time in focussing on them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, mbbs is very hard and long term process. You will be bored in 1st year because you cant get real clinical cases. But in Final year, 3rd Prof Part 2, you will get huge pressure. Because there are total 11 subjects, you should study in final year. It is a great burden for all. I'm not satisfied with Nmc curriculum. They are not thinking about students. They are implement their rules in chilled ac room. But they don't know the real scenarios.

Rg kar medical college hostel, education and college life review

You have to clear NEET UG cut off for our college which varies according to your category . Cut off is high as our college is third most sought college in WB.
