Course Curriculum Overview
I chose MBBS as my course because at first it's a noble profession and I believe that it's the best way to help people and stay in touch with people. Also after all it is a good profession to earn money and maintain a quality life. The student-faculty ratio is quite good here it is 1:10 ( faculty: Student). All the faculty of the college are quite good and well educated. Exams are taken with a gap of 3/4 month and passing the exam is very tough.
Internships Opportunities
After the final year of our MBBS course, there is a one-year of internship. This is a very interesting year. In this year you can learn many clinical things from your seniors. There is also a good stipend of around 30k every month. After the internship, you can apply for many govt and private jobs.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure in my college is very affordable it's only 4500 per semester and it is constant for the whole course. A fee hike was not seen in my college for this special thanks to the West Bengal government. There are my scholarships like SVMCM, Aikyashree, etc.
Campus Life
Lobelia is our college fest which is conducted each and every year in September also there is an academic fest in our college named Therapeuo which is conducted in August. Our library is also very big and there are available lots of books and journals. Our college is well known for extracurriculars like cricket and football.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are quite good. All rooms of our hostel are very clean for these special thanks to our cleaning worker. In each and every room light and fan ratio is 1:1 Which is quite good I think. The quality of the meal is also very good.
Admission
To take admission at R.G Kar Medical College and hospital first, we have to crack a national examination called NEET. For the NEET examination, a student has to fill out the form which is available at nta.neet.nic.in website. Application form fees are 1500 rs (vary year to year). The application starts in December month each year. I think there is no requirement for improvement in this eligibility process because it's already quite a good and standard process.
