- Hospital is a bit crowded. Campus need to be extended.
- There is no play ground available for sports activities.
- Our college lack any open air theatre.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our institution is one prestigious medical colleges in Eastern India. The infrastructure here is upto the mark. The faculties are very helpful & cordial. Exams occur thrice a year. This course is difficult & needs patience and hard work. Exams are conducted on time.
Internships Opportunities
The internship commenced after 4.5 years. Internship is mandatory and a stipend is provided. After college students usually opt for housestaffship. Some students prefer to do further studies. Some also apply for GDMOship in the Government sector.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are very minimal. 4500/- per semester. Our course fee is highly subsidized by the Government of West Bengal. Various scholarships are available for students which are provided by WB Govt. The paid internship is compulsory at course completion.
Campus Life
Our annual fest Lobelia is one of the largest in Eastern India. Various designated artists come to perform in Lobelia. Stalwarts like Vishal & Shekhar, and Sonu Nigam Sunidhi Chauhan had graced the stage previously. Students get various options for extracurricular activities. The gym is also available for students.
Admission
Application forms are available in ntaneet.nic.in website. The admission process is a bit cumbersome. Everything is done online nowadays. Seat allotment occurs in 3 subsequent rounds. For my institution, one needs to register at wbmcc.nic.in for state quota counseling.
