Remarks
You have to start your college life in the first year itself. What I mean is you have to get a batch of good friends, have to participate in different clubs according to your interest, and there is CFI in the institute where you will be doing the mini projects. You have to participate in that also. Then only you will get the panorama of the life at IITM. There is a lingo called Insti Lingo. You better get used to it when you step into IIT Madras
Entrance Preview
I took long term and I wrote first jee mains and I qualified and wrote iit Jee. No there is any such interview after counciling. I choose civil engineering. Because of the opportunity to get a job in any company
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose civil engineering it depends on the construction part. I love the construction field. Mainly depends on the practical learning and college encourages the practical part most. It's famous so obviously it has great equipment. So many researches were taken part here.
Internships Opportunities
Provide many intern ship programs. I am feeling lucky and experience is awesome.stipend is 3500/-.learned many things there. Regarding internships, all the non-core companies come for taking the interns. Many people also get internships directly through professors, so the exact percent is not known.
Placement Experience
The placements can be divided into two categories: the first is core and the second is non-core. My seniors got the placements in different profiles in different companies here. For example, one of my seniors got placed in Flipkart for 22 lakhs per annum package in the coding profile, and another senior got placed in Goldman Sachs for 20 lakhs per annum in the finance profile. Generally, the average package of non-core profiles would be 10-12 lakhs per annum.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee is very high like it's 2,00,000 per Annum. Because the standard they are providing is such a cost. It's not affordable. But should try. We can Avvail scholarship
Faculty
Faculity here are very well experienced. Their standard of teaching is peaks. And they interact very well. Each of them consists of mentor.they concentrate on every single person. Faculty members are amazing, but even better is the crowd out here.
