Course Curriculum Overview

The Faculty members in our college are very knowledgeable and very good, classes and exams are held regularly and the faculty give us a thorough understanding of the subject, they are just great and highly qualified.

Class Size: 250Course Fees: INR 9000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of our college is 6500 at the time of admission and 4500 in each semester thereafter. People can avail of various types of scholarships based on the eligibility criteria and government facilities.

Campus Life

We enjoy a great campus life, a ragging-free campus, along with a great senior-junior relationship. LOBELIA is our cultural fest and happens to be one of the largest cultural fests in the entire eastern India. The libraries are available in the campus.

Admission

NEET UG examination, the college cutoff for our college General category was 619 marks. Application form can be found on the NTA official website after it is released. The admission procedure overall is good.

The course is completely based on NMC new guidelines. Along with the theory classes where we know the structure and their working in dissection we actually see them on cadaver . Lectures should be more interesting as it's get boring to literally listen the concepts for first time like a story and at the end we forget everything

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medical field is a really good field in my opinion to serve humankind and learn about science of nature and life!the curriculum is a little overpaced and there are 19 subjects which are taught in a timespan of 4.5 years which is a bit hectic! There are 4 professional exams and 9 semesters which have pretty good difficulty and assess our skills and education. We have regular examinations in around 4-5 months each. Only thing id like to change in the curriculum is better assessment of many topics which are taught pretty well but aren't examined much leading us to waste our time in focussing on them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, mbbs is very hard and long term process. You will be bored in 1st year because you cant get real clinical cases. But in Final year, 3rd Prof Part 2, you will get huge pressure. Because there are total 11 subjects, you should study in final year. It is a great burden for all. I'm not satisfied with Nmc curriculum. They are not thinking about students. They are implement their rules in chilled ac room. But they don't know the real scenarios.

The course curriculum is quite planned and great and has a lot of advantages in having a clinical and learning diagnostic approach to various diseases. One area where the curriculum can improve is by having more practical classes rather than theoretical classes. Rg kar medical college hostel, education and college life review

You have to clear NEET UG cut off for our college which varies according to your category . Cut off is high as our college is third most sought college in WB.
