Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course as I was interested in art and aspects of varying subjects that were taught under the course curriculum of graphic design offered in this college. In terms of exams, internal tests were always timely however the external exams conducted by the university were always a source of confusion as the dates were never scheduled properly and always ended with the dates being released mere days from the exam. despite this, the college always did its best to make sure the students were prepped for the external university exams and that it was as smooth an experience as possible.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

I am not sure about this topic as I have yet to experience the recruitment drive provided by the college. the recruitment drive by the college was an event that was held for the batches senior to us.

Placement Experience

4

From semester 5 in the third year, students become eligible for campus placements. at the moment I have not yet commenced my fifth semester and haven't really experienced the placement drive. I am exploring my options right now and am slowly planning on what I want to do after graduating.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee hike policy of the college is like so: it is increased by 10,000 every academic year with the first year fee beginning at 250000 The college is open about the fee structure and the administrative staff is available for any clearance of doubts.

Campus Life

3.5

The college holds multiple events a year such as sports interaction day, open house exhibition of all student works, field trips, workshops, and educative trips to different locations both domestic and international.

Admission

When I was looking for colleges to apply to, I came across Lisaa by word of mouth from an acquaintance. When I sought to apply to the college, the staff were incredibly helpful and resourceful. They gave a circular listing all the criteria for the course - such as 10 and 10+2 certificates or certificates of a similar nature. There was an entrance exam conducted by the college which was fairly simple. The Application form was available online and the details regarding the application fees and dates were also found on the site. In addition, there were contact numbers which I availed to get more information on the process and to clear my doubts in general.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum here feels more practical and idea driven rather than just theory based which was one of the main reasons I chose this course it focuses on design thinking creativity and real execution instead of only textbook learning One of the strongest parts is how it slowly builds your understanding from basics to advanced concepts through projects assignments and presentations this helps in preparing for real world work because you are constantly creating and improving your portfolio rather than just studying for exams The curriculum does prepare you for industry to a good extent especially in terms of creative thinking software usage and project handling but it can improve by including more updated trends real time industry briefs and collaboration with professionals which will make it even more relevant Teaching methods are mostly interactive and practical but sometimes they can include more workshops guest sessions and exposure to current market tools to enhance learning experience Exams are conducted with two internal assessments of around 40 marks each followed by a final semester exam of 70 marks theory and 30 marks practical the difficulty level is moderate if you attend classes and complete your work regularly it is manageable Overall the curriculum is strong in building creative foundation and practical skills but with a few updates and more industry exposure it can become even more effective for future careers

Course Curriculum Overview:

We have really packed timings. We also have a lot of chances. Like an exchange program, internships and many chances to act or work in actual projects. I really hope they could teach us animation in the course and it would really help if the clubs are active. For every exam we have to come up with something new totally out of the box. sometimes we also have to work overtime.

Students become eligible for placements after their graduation project in the 8th semester which is the 4th year. A good number of companies around 8-10 come for the campus placements. The minimum package starts from 6 lakhs and can go up to 20 lakhs per annum. Almost 70% of the students get an on campus placement. Some get an off campus placement as well. My plans after getting the degree is to pursue masters in my field.
