Must be read by the students before joining Sri Indu institute of engineering and technology.

I opted for computer science and engineering(Internet of things) in Sri indu institute of engineering and technology because i wanted to pursue my btech in computer softwares and languages as well as i was also interested in internet of things. SIIET has a student and mentor ratio of 20:1 as per the norms of affiliated university. Qualification of the faculty is postgraduation or Phds. The faculty are quite helpful. SIIET is an autonomous institution so the semester are conducted by the college itself. Semester exams are conducted after 16 weeks of working weeks. The exams conducted by the college are conducted moderate.

Campus placements start either from 3rd year 2nd sem or 4th year. Many companies visit the college for campus placements. the highest package offered was 7LPA and the average package is about 3.5 lakhs per annum. i didnot get to know the placement percentage but the students with good proficiency in coding languages are getting placed.

My yearly fee is 95000 rupees per year and they took another 10000 rupees for labs and library maintenance. Ts government pays 35000 rupees for my tuition fee, the rest must be paid from my side. Transportation facility i.e, bus facility is also available, the bus fee is different from tuition fee.

The annual day is conducted in may,2023 and technical fest was held in march,2023. Subject text books are available in the library as well. Classrooms are quite normal. There are not much extracurricular activities in this institute aside from studies.

I have joined through Ts Eamcet which is an entrance exam counducted by JNTUH under ts government. The eligibility of this course is minimum 60% in intermediate. we can apply for ts eamcet in ts eamcet portal and application fees varies from person to person and it depends on their category. Since i am from general category i paid 800 rupees for the applcation, for students who are from SC/ST category, the application fee is 400 rupees. The last date to apply was 28th may 2022 when i applied for ts eamcet. I did not receive any benefits of reservation since i am from general category.
