Exploring RGUKT

The university provides 6 years of integrated courses of which 2 years is a pre-university course(PUC) and 4 years bachelor of technology(b. tech). They will allot branches after completion of PUC by considering your cgpa in PUC. The faculty are well qualified with good teaching techniques. Most of the faculty have done their bachelors/masters from the country's best institutes such as IIT/NIT.

Companies like tcs, Infosys, etc. provide internships with a good stipend of around 20-40k per month. Most of the companies hire interns to work on projects and to do tasks in which innovation is required.

From the 6th semester in your btech, you can appear for placements. Companies like microsoft, tcs, infosys, tata motors, etc. The average package is around 6-8 lpa and the highest package is around 20-25 lpa. 60% of students get placements. I want to do my master's after completing my degree.

In pre-university courses, the fees will be 45,000 per annum and in btech, it is 50,000. If your annual income is under 2,00,000. The government will offer you financial assistance by providing you with a scholarship.

The college celebrates its techfest"TEKZITE" every year which is South India's largest in 2018. In the library, there are ample amounts of books both educational and general. Every classroom is equipped with projectors and access to LAN. The college also has its sports clubs and extracurricular clubs such as music, dance, fine arts etc.. Generally, we have Student Mitra, and SDCAC websites which are run for students by students.

The college provides a room which is shared by 3 students, it has a fan, two lights and charging sockets. The menu provided by the mess is fixed and the taste of the food is average. Once you are selected for college you can have a room. There will be no hostel charges though food has. The college will not allow students to stay outside of the campus

First, you have to appear in your state board 10th class examination. Then you have to apply for Rgukt. they consider your marks /cgpa in your 10th class or equivalent examination. Then the university will release the selected list according to marks. The university will give extra preference to students who studied in govt schools in the selected list by adding some marks(4%).
