Brief review of RGUKT

The course curriculum is very well designed. In fact, the course curriculum is in IIT standards. I chose this course due to my financial status and my interest towards the engineering side. Students are nearly 6000 and faculty available are nearly 300 to 400. Most of the faculty are from top institutes and teaching is good. Each year has two sem examinations along with mid. In the ECE department, core companies like analogue devices, synopsis, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, and Infosys are giving long-term internships to students. The highest stipend offered is 40000. And minimum stipend for an internship is 15000.

From 3rd year of Btech, students are eligible for campus placements. ECE top core companies like analog devices, synopsis, Qualcomm etc. will come for placements. Around 120-150 students get selected in core companies in ECE out of 360. The highest package is 27 lpa and the average package is around 6 lpa. Placements percentage is around 80-90 percent. My plan is to get placed in a core ECE company in campus placement.

For two years PUC fee is 45000 and for Engineering it is 50000. Students who are eligible for scholarships under Jagananna Vidyadeevena will get money from the government. Otherwise, students have to pay the full fees.

National-level tech fest Techzite is conducted in the month of April by the SDCAC club. The iot expo is also conducted in April by the ECE department. Many essential and fundamental books of every branch are available in the Library. The classroom has good facilities like projectors, LAN cables, and charging ports for every desk. Candidate must pass 10th standard to get admission into RGUKT. Every year institute releases a notification for admission on the official RGUKT website. Candidates should apply on www.rgukt.in website to get admission. All the details of admission and admission form is available on the website. Student have to apply for it online mode and the application fee is around 350 which slightly varies based on the category of student. Usually, application notification is released within two months of the 10th public examination results being declared. The admission process will take place based on caste reservation and the merit of the student. Student's SSC marks are considered for admission and seats will be allocated based on that marks. Under special category reservations, students get some seats under sports, NCC and CAP categories. In the admission process, they will also consider students state. For Andhra Pradesh, students 85 percent of seats are reserved and the remaining 15 per cent will be allocated to non-local students
