Fantastic college

The infrastructure in vaagdevi College is quite advanced like labs and classrooms well equipped with the advanced laboratory kits and necessary apparatus. The labs are abundant with desktop systems with software and internet facilities. The classrooms are spacious with a 100 student capacity with projector facility, by which, classes can be taught online. Ours is the best canteen of all the colleges which is very big and serves all types of food. They don't compromise on the quality which is one of the noticeable factors. Hostel rooms are very big and neat and tidy whenever seen. The problem which was faced by our final year students is that we didn't have proper sports grounds to play but they have arranged it now.

I am a polytechnic student. I wrote polycet exam and I gained sufficient marks to get a seat in this college. There was a personal interview for me. I'm attended it successfully. In this way I have landed in this. The course I took I.e.CSE was completely based upon my personal interest.Getting a job in prestigious MNC is my ultimate goal.

The course I took was CSE .It was really fantastic. But the focusing on practical learning is not as much as I expected. I think it is insufficient for a student like me whose goal is to gain knowledge very fastly and clearly. It was a major drawback. Research initiatives are frequently done in our college. Next month there is a research on modern software development in our college. I try participate in that.

I'm unaware of internships because I'm not interested in that. But I heard about it from my seniors.It is very much useful for the students who are regularly participating in workshops,seminars and also for placements In future. This was an amazing experience. The average stipend amount is about 6700 per month.

Fairly, I can say that our college is best for placements and that makes vaagdevi College one of the best private engineering colleges in Hyderabad. Placements were at most priority in our college and there were a lot of companies that came for recruiting students including top software and core companies like Flipkart, Amazon, Voonik, Hp and Intel. Almost 60% of students got placed which is most for any private college. When it comes to salary, the average package given is 3.3 lakhs per year, whereas the highest package is 16.5 lakhs by Flipkart and the lowest is 2.5 lakhs by companies like Birlasoft IT services, GlobalEdge software. Software tester, software developer, technical consultant, system administrator etc. are the jobs given to students after joining the company. Apart from placements, there are students who got internship offers from top companies like Flipkart, Voonik aGk technologies and they are given chances to do internships while studying. But the percentage of students who got internships is quite low i.e 35% due to the limited intake of students. The average stipend is 15k per month whereas the highest is 20k and lowest is 12k per month.

Yes, the fee was affordable. To explain in detail our college fee is 60000.bus fee if 12000.And accommodation fee is about 8000.For me there is a special recommendation in fee. So it is easily affordable for me.

The faculty members who are working in our college are the people who have completed their graduation which means they are well qualified. They were friendly and helped us by their experience when we faced any problems. The professors use simple language and practical examples to explain in the classes. They keep on telling us to focus on laboratories for a better understanding of the concepts. As there is a much more experienced faculty teaching us, there is one teacher for every 30 students. The college arranges industry visits twice every year which is very helpful to the students in teaching them practically to make them more knowledgeable. The courses offered are very useful for the students who aspire to work in their respective software or hardware domains.
