Course Curriculum Overview

There are numerous courses available I choose B.com to learn about accounts and business There is 1 teacher for every 10 students on an average Faculty is kind and helpful they use modern way of teaching and has latest syllabus There is semister final exam after every 6 month. Pass the exam is not that easy 5 CGP is needed to pass

Class Size: 42Course Fees: INR 130000 per year

Placement Experience

6th semester students are eligible for placement Vipro, Berger, lenscart, top cement etc A b.com students gets a package around 300000 and the highest is 600000 and MBA students gets 8 lakh to 12 lakh package Around 30 percent students get placement I will do MBA and then I will start my own business

Fees and Financial Aid

College can increase the fee every year. Admission is 50000 and 130000 per year with no additional fees like exam fees or library fees. College give scholarship of 20000 to yearly topper. The average placement is around 300000 per annum. The college also provides 100 per cent scholarship to poor students in rural areas

Campus Life

Name of the fest keeping on changing every year it is normally conducted in the month of December There is also every book you can think of. Rgu library have large collection of books RGU have badminton court, table tennis table, football ground, pool table and RGU keeps on organising many cultural program now and tehn There is no group run by only students

Admission

The admission process was smooth and efficient. I didn't took any entrance exam, and the application process was online, with no cutoff Course eligibility criteria were well-defined. Application forms were easily accessible online, and fees and dates were transparent. The university doesn't reservation benefits I would suggest more communication during the admission process to keep applicants updated on the status and timelines.

The college i study in is very good

Placement Experience:

Students from 5th semester onwards are ready for campus placements. The students from our college gets a very good college placement at a very nice company and salary. The percentage of students getting degree are 80% and my plan after my degree are to become "Company Secretary or job at SBI".

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course is very rich and varied for someone from commerce background . There are a lot of subjects for students which students study in various semesters . There's even EVS in the curriculum which is wierd but also great . I feel the curriculum is a lot based on the real life there are topics related to computerised accounting, e businesses , virtual reality , augmented reality , stock markets etc etc . which are ig very necessary for today's world . Since I am just in my 1st semester I don't think I can say a lot about the improvements that can be made but I feel the curriculum can also include a little about AI as it's the burning topic of today's world . If there's a subject like EVS for commerce then I feel even an AI subject will not pose much difficulty or chaos among the students . Exams are very regular . I just had my sessional exams in October and now I am preparing for my finals which are in December

Gauhati University: A Students perspective.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This is an integrated course where i will be getting a masters degree after completing 5 years. Only tezpur university provides this course other than GU. The curriculum prepares students mainly to pursue careers in academic fields and research fields. More practical aspects can be added to provide a holistic knowledge to the students. The exams are very well planed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Nothing influenced my decision to choose this course. I just wanted to choose this course for fun, to be honest. the curriculum rarely prepares us for real-world applications or further academic pursuits but whenever it does it would be very beneficial for the students. Held frequent inspections in the college so that they can improve themselves and the teaching method should be in a friendly and more comprehensive way. The exam timings are perfect along with the perspective of their difficulty level.

Gauhati Commerce College : A premier Institution for Conmerce Education with Evolving Opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, nothing specific has influenced me in the decision to choose this course that is BCOM as most of these student after passing shoes, so I also opt to BCOM. Well, the curriculum does not fully prepare the students for real world applications or further academic pursuits. They does not provide any practical knowledge or any kind of internship to the students for the real world. Well, according to me, they should provide some internship or something related to practical knowledge. This improvements are very necessary. The frequency and timing of exams is very low like within four months the university tries to complete the whole semester, and it's very hard to complete the whole syllabus within just four months.
