IFIM – A school of excellence

One thing which is very unique in IFIM is the PEP Activity.PEP boost the student to be fit and active.My overall experience in IFIM was excellant in terms of Academics, Hostel facility, Faculties, etc.

I got admission in this college by writing MAT.I came up with a decision to get admission in this college by doing a lot of research on the colleges situated in Bangalore.The admission process was followed by an Interview round.I applied for PGDM Course for this college as PGDM is a Diploma course which helps the student to understand how Business works,What is the business model for any business to run and it also helps the student to develop his/her personality.

I chose Marketing in IFIM B School.Marketing is a course which keeps you active.Marketing is something where you develop your communication skills,negotiation skills,relation developing skills.Marketing is all about doing practical and IFIM was at its very best to deliver the practical knowledge.Yes,IFIM do have a separate subject called Business Research Method in which every single student have to choose a research topic of their own field and have to submit a research report.Apart from Marketing their are other elective as well such as Finance,HR,Business Analytics,Operations.

Yes the college do provide Internship opportunities under the name of IIP Program.The experience is quite decent to get the knowledge of corporate how it works.The average stipend for the internship was Rs 15,000/month.

Placement records are pretty good.There are so many big brands which are visiting IFIM for the campus placements.In my batch almost 70% of the students got placed in well reputed brands.Major companies include Deloitte, CollegeDunia.com, Nestle, Oracle, Moody's Analytics, Britannia, Sumeru, Coffee Day, Asian Paints, Berger Paints, Orient Cement. Average package is 6 Lacs.

There were so many different events organised in the college such as Kanyathon, Naman, Aura. Kanyathon and Naman were the flagship event of IFIM which were organised on a very large scale which was having an involvement of around 3000-4000 people at a time.The organisation and the planning for the events are so well designed for the smooth occurring of the events.

Being from a medium class family the fee for the course of PGDM in IFIM for me was a little difficult when I thought off.But the loan from SBI was at a very affordable charges that I managed to pay the fee to IFIM. Fee structure is as follows: Tution Fee-Rs.9,50,000 Hostel Fee-2,40,000 Alumni Fund-Rs 15,000

Yes there are so many scholarship opportunities in the college under the name of "Padode Foundation".Yes college do help in getting the loan from Axis bank.They do have the tie up with Axis Bank for all the bank related queries.

There are so many extracurricular activities which occur in the college such as Games,Sports,Dancing,Skits,Music Club,Marketing Club,Toastmaster Club,etc..The college is decent in extra curricular activities.I personally got ample opportunities to show my inner talent of Badminton in different college tournaments and I won so many trophies for IFIM. The college hostel campus have all the required facilities of Sports and Games.

Yes,I was residing in the Hostel.The rooms in hostel were sharing rooms.But the rooms have enough space.No they did not have PGs facility as they have hostel facility which is pretty good,

We have a strong interaction with our alumni.Yes there are different events happened in college where we get a chance to interact with the alumni.Yes they contribute towards the development of the college in one or the other way such as placements, sponsorship, etc.

Well the exams and labs were conducted at a very good level to test the knowledge of the student and to evaluate the student to make him/her Industry ready.

I believe that most of the faculties are PhD holders from a well reputed institutes as well as they also have a deep corporate experience.They are very interactive as well as ready at any time to share their knowledge with the students.
