A brief intro about Master's in statistics from BANARAS HINDU UNIVERSITY

Statistics is one of the most demanding subjects this time, and after doing a master's in statistics one can find better opportunities college provides placement in reputed companies with an average package of 7 lpa and the highest up to 18 lpa and there are also opportunities in public sectors The faculty-student ratio is 1:10 which is good if we talk about per semester as there are 20 proffers in the statistics department I am talking about per semester. As BANARAS HINDU UNIVERSITY is one of the known central universities in India it is known for its academics all the faculties here are well qualified, they have well-known research papers in various journals, they got various projects by the Central government based on a sample survey. Their teaching method is very good new professors' educational backgrounds are awsome. There is one mid sem that occurs within 3 months from the start of the semester and one end sem at the end of the semester. it is not a cup of cake to pass this exam. it is difficult to pass it

I am writing on behalf of a master's in statistics. internship is provided by Accenture as a role of market analyst data scientist with a stipend of 40000. Also we can apply for central NFHS internship offered by the Central government for students doing master's in statistics they pay 10,000 per month

From 3 Rd semester, students became eligible for campus placement As I am telling this on behalf of my Statistics department. currently, statistics is a demanding subject so there is a placement for the statistics department. here various company visits for masters students not for bachelors companies are Accenture, mackinsy, HSB, musigma, Sutherland, Genpact, Elililly, and CHEOR. They made various offers for the place of statistical analyst, data analytics, and Data scientist.no of offers were 50 The highest package was 16 lpa for 23 batches for 22 batches it was 25 lpa by mackinsy. The average package is 8 lpa generally for DATA scientists. There 60-70% percent students were placed in 23 batch I will go for academics as PhD in statistics or do some research

Bhu is a central university so its academic fees are very low 3000 per semester. Hostel fees are also very low 6000 per semester. But the mess is private it takes around 3000 for one month. If we add all these things it would be 52000 per year. There is up scholarship scheme for students of Uttar Pradesh that returns their academic and hostel fees after filling up the scholarship form, but not the fees. There is also one scheme that is known as Earn while learn in which the university provides small tasks to selected students and pays them In Msc we have the opportunity of an internship in Accenture that gives around 40000 per month for two months.

As part of the Institute of Science we have the opportunity to participate in a cultural fest and institute level known as Aakansha, After that, there is one grand festival at the University level named Spandan. BHU central library is very big, it has tie-up with many reputed journals and the departmental library is also very good The classroom is in good there is proper maintenance of lights fans, windows It has a projector. Sports facilities are awesome at the hostel we have different ground for badminton, volleyball, and indoor games facilities is also available. No clubs have been formed especially in the statistics department. Other departments have their clubs for different things

Hostel rooms are very good. There is one room for 2 students staff are very cooperative they maintain everything on time. There is a water purifier. Mess quality is good they change their menu daily canteen is also good they keep all items The registration process is very easy it is done at the time of admission. Hostel allotment is based on the distance of students' home it is very affordable Bhu is situated in the main city. There are various pg outside it they provide on a monthly basis with food availability generally they charge 6000 for this

For a master's in statistics, the eligibility is that you have completed your bachelor's with statistics as one of the main subjects studied for three years. The application form can be found online it is organised by NTA by the name of CUET PG yes there is a reservation for OBC, SC, ST, EWS and disabled person In CUET pg there is one paper in the general studies section as a student of statistics I want that remove this section
