About my College life in PEC

I have choosen ECE which has good scope in both the Software and Hardware core side for the future. Faculty are highly experienced almost all have Ph.D. and explanation is also very good with practical examples. Term exams (semester ) will be for every 4 months almost and they are conducted by Jntuk which is quite tough.

A company like Capgemini, tcs are providing internships in our college that help students a lot. I have visited the Vizag steel plant which is my personal internship and with the help of my college faculty.

Placements in our college start from 4th year and they will provide classes for placements like teaching aptitude, coding, and Body language. Top mncs like TCS, Wipro, Hcl, Hgs, pole to Win, justdial, Infosys, and many more companies will visit. During my placement time highest package is 8lpa and the average package is 3lpa. I am 2014-2018 batch and I working as a software engineer.

The Fees in our college is around 1,00,000 per year including all fees like semester, library fee, and bus fee. Scholarships are provided based on eamcet rank and some of them are by govt. I got placed in HGS which is a non-IT job with a package of 3lpa during my placements.

In our college they will conduct Freshers Day, Farewell Day, and Strides, the events conducted during January month and there are many individual events for every branch in our college. The library has all the required books and daily newspapers. Every year they will conduct sports events and give prizes during strides event. The rotary club in our college will do social activities. Campus life is very good and pleasant.

During my admission process, I took an entrance exam called EAMCET which is conducted by the AP government. Based on the rank they will provide the college and branches in the counselling. At present admission process has become easier than before as the entrance exam for different engineering is separate.
