Very good. Along with theory good practical. Good exposure good area. Good region. Good mixing. Very good for mechanism engineering.

AIEEE exam conducted in 2009. I scored 237 marks, AIR of 10218. I opted for NIT Surat due to its good location

Covering all aspects of mechanical engineering both practical and theory. Overall good teachers. Experienced ones were pretty good and shared there experience. Automobile engineering was good

Not many companies came for internship. Actually I don't remember any. We had to try by ourself. At least in mechanical engineering. Some companies computer engineering.

Overall good. Good placements for mechanical engineering. Cairn energy, Maruti, linde, bpcl, iocl, Tata chemicals, Godrej, l&t and numerous other companies

Feasible as it is government. Nowadays I think fee may have increased. But one shall not look at fee. Education loan can be paid out in 1 year after you start your job

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.

In our college placement starts from 7th semester and students are eligible from the 7th semester. The highest package is around 21 lakh and avg package is 3.5 to 4 lakhs(companies are tcs , tatvasoft , argusoft , IBM etc.) many students get placement like more than 50 % my simple plan is to get a good job from campus placement and do job after my graduation.

Honestly, i had applied so many NITs but due to my average score in JEE MAINS , i was getting only SVNIT and some Northen east NITs I did not choose other NITs as they are very far apart from my home state. SVNIT -The best for Transportation engineering

I chose SVNIT just because this is one of the best college for transportation engineering. Surat is the best city for seeing the development which is being carried out and a great infrastructure is also available.
