Course Curriculum Overview

Utkal University is one of the best universities in Odisha. The faculty-student ratio is approximately 1:8. Faculties have a qualification of Post Graduate and UGC NET exam clear. Exams are conducted on a semester basis at a time interval of 6 months. The difficulty level is moderate.

Class Size: 56Course Fees: INR 3700 per year

Internships Opportunities

The companies offered under the internship are Tech Mahindra, TPCODL, etc. The average stipend is Rs 15000 per month. The projects are research-based regarding various topics. However, there is not much scope for internships for all the students.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for campus placements from the 4th semester after completing their master's course. The companies visited for campus placements are Tech Mahindra, TPCODL, etc. The highest package is 12 lpa and the average package is 4 lpa. The percentage of students getting placement is 60%. My plan is to pursue CA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for the general category is Rs 3700 and it may vary for reservation categories and female candidates. There are various scholarship schemes available for meritorious students such as NSP, Odisha Medhabruti, and other scholarships for reservation categories.

Campus Life

Fest is conducted on an annual basis. The infrastructure is very good with smart boards and air-conditioned rooms. The books which are available in the library are old and need to be updated. Inter-University tournaments are also conducted.

Admission

Eligibility for admission is a BCOM pass. Admission is done through the CPET exam which is conducted all over Odisha. Application form and details of available on the SAMS website. Reservation benefits are available for SC, ST, and OBC categories. There should be improvement in producing the results quickly.

I got seat in my college by merit listbin 1st phase selection I am not selected but in the 2nd phase selection I was selected on the mark student and took admission on 7th july 2018 and this is my 1st day in my college. Then the class started and I was so norves about that.

Entrance Preview:

There was no Entrance exam and the admission procedure was very good and the staffs here are very nice and the quality of education provided is very nice. The lecturers are very co-operative.

During our last semister some of good placement their but due to facuilty approch we did not got In every college some problem such as on college election & puja fastival some problem aries but noting any major happened good days never came again.
