A Testimony on RGUKT

Ours is an integrated course so the first 2 years were PUC. In PUC our college only had MPC or (MBiPC) because it offers only engineering courses. The PUC course was by far but due to covid I felt difficulty in catching up with the topics and all but it was all good Engineering was a bit tough. The student-teacher ratio is pretty good there are enough faculty members. The faculty have all phd graduates and are experts in their own field. There are 2 semesters yearly and for each semester there are 3 mids. Each mid is conducted every 2 months and sem for every 6 months.

Students are eligible for placements in the final year i.e., B.Tech 4th year. The companies that visited for placements are Wipro, TCS, etc. The highest package is 27 lpa from the ECE department and the average package is 6 lpa. I don't know the exact percentage but I believe 60% of students will be placed. I plan to do an internship on campus and get a job if a good opportunity is provided.

The fee is collected annually in our college. It varies from year to year the academic fee is 45000 per year and the mess fee is 40000 per year. However, Students who are eligible for JVD can avail of full fee reimbursement. There is a person assigned to take care of students' scholarships.

Our campus is well known for its tech fests there are a few organizations namely SM, and SDCAC which take part actively in conducting events. The students who volunteer to do the preparations for the fests are these people from the organizations. The library has a good amount of books especially those related to Engineering. Many books written by famous are also available. Our classrooms have a capacity to contain 60 students and a board also projector for presentations. The sports that are there are cricket, Handball and also Activities like yoga are available in our college Clubs like helping hands run to help people in need are run by our students.

Firstly the registration for the exams commenced and after the registration date, we were given exam centers. After the exam is completed marks and ranks are announced. Then we were supposed to go to counseling for the campus. The cut-off was given based on the marks for each category, and I luckily got a seat due to my category(BC-A). I thought the examination part was quite good for selecting meritorious students but the cut-off things should have been more favorable to students with caliber rather than students with mere category.
