According to the marks achieved in my 12th class and JEE, I was eligible for the B. Tech(IT) course. In my class, the ratio is around 1:60. But generally considering most of the classes on the campus it is a bit low and around 1:40 which is quite good. The faculty of the college is well and all the professors have done master's or Phd. only a few faculty are on an internship basis and the majority of faculty are full-time. MIET conducts term exams two times in a semester called sessional exams which are 1.5 hours generally and a pre-university test (PUT) which is held one time before the semester exam and is of 2 hours. To pass those exams the student has to learn all the basics and a few advanced concepts to get a good 85% + marks. They lie in the category of moderate to hard.

Internship opportunities at MIET College are highly regarded for their enriching experiences. Also, the students who have appeared for the JEE examination get an edge if their percentile lies about 40.
