Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum for CSE is very well structured and is in a good format. The faculty are also very helpful and well-skilled. They guide you and help you throughout. There is a 1:10 faculty ratio. Most of the faculty have PHD degrees and almost all of them are M.Tech graduates hence all are very well-skilled. The term exams have a gap of 5 months per sem, and the correction is also liberal but in a few subjects, they follow a very strict pattern for correction.
Internships Opportunities
Students will be provided with AICTE virtual internships every year through which they can gain a lot of skills. AICTE and Cisco internships are provided with merit and professional certificates. They have tied up with many companies like Paolotta, alteryx and Amazon AWS. You will need to attempt the exam at the end of the course only then you will be provided with certificates.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is 69000 per year for category A Category B it's 2,07,000 Students with reservations can avail of the JVD policy to get the full fee as reimbursement. As I'm still an Undergraduate I have not received a placement offer yet, but the placements are quite good in gvpce for CSE.
Campus Life
There are tech fests which are conducted every year like EKATHRA. Besides this, there are many technical and social clubs in GVP which conduct many fests outside the college and within the college. Some of the technical clubs include GDSC, IEEE, CSI etc.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are neat and clean. Free wifi is provided. The food quality is also good and the snacks are breakfast are really good. But only vegetarian food is available and non-veg is not provided at any cost. The hostel fee is 80000 per year. They take good care and the registration process includes filling out the form provided in the hostel and payment has to be made online on GVPCE website.
Admission
I have been admitted to GVPCE(A) through AP- EAMCET and the counselling process. You can also get admission through the category B Non-NRI quota through your JEE mains score and the NRI quota with a donation and your Intermediate score. To get a seat in CSE, your EAMCET rank must be below 3000 for general and below 10000 through any kind of reservation. I would like to see more guidance and improvement in the admission process for the coming juniors.
