Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is hectic but at the same time, there is a lot to learn. Except few, most faculty members are supportive and help us to grow in our careers. Classroom and lab are there for teaching. All professors are well qualified and they have lots of experience to share. Exams are conducted at prescheduled times and the level of exams is high. Tough questions are there and answers must be written with justification and explain the concepts

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Within the college, every department gives an opportunity for an internship with a stipend of 5000. Also, many companies visit the campus for internships and they give a stipend of 200000. Also, there is a mini and major project in our curriculum that helps us to learn industrial and research work.

Placement Experience

4.5

For Btech, from the 7th semester and for MSC, from the 9th semester, you are eligible for campus placement. More than 300 companies visit the campus every year and more than 900 people get placed. As of now Rs 4400000 is the highest package from the campus placement. More than 80% of students get placed every year. I shall be pursuing higher study.

Fees and Financial Aid

From time to time as inflation increases and curriculum changes, results in fee hikes. For btech students, there are lots of scholarships but for MSc, students there is limited scope for scholarships. You can opt for state-based scholarships, student credit cards, etc.

Campus Life

4.5

First of all, on campus, you can meet people from all over India. You can make friends 2ith people from different states and learn about their cultures. For student welfare, there are many cultural as well as sports events are organised on the campus. Classrooms are well furnished and enough space for the student to seat comfortably. There are many student chapters and physical activity organisations for students to indulge in.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Room is big enough to stay comfortably. Bed, table, chair, electricity, fan, bulb, wifi are provided. Latrin cleaning is done daily. Rooms cleaning service is twice a week. Meal is above average quality. Registration for hostel is done by online portal. Avoid to get rented room or pg, it will be costly.

Admission

To get admission, you first need to qualify for jee main exam and also need to score well in intermediate. If you had done your intermediate from CBSE you must have to score 75% otherwise you have to be in the top 20 percentile in the state board. Councelling process is organised by JOSAA for admission. Category and gender-based reservation is available in college. Also, state-based reservation is there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This includes subject like genetics ,molecular biology, immunology and others which strongly influence my decision to choose this course. It prepares students for well further academic education like MSC and research based fields.Teaching methods can be improved by adding interactive sessions, case studies, handson practice. This college includes internal exams such as unit test ,assignments, practical exams and end semesters exams which help students to stayed focused on studying. There are less difficulties faced by students who attend lectures on regular basis.
