Remarks

A good college after iit or nit. Future is good here. College life is also satisfactory. Boys girls ratio is also good approx 5:1.

This is a college affiliated by Aktu and AICTE approved. In Aktu colleges, admission is taken on the basis of rank in uptu entrance exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am from computer science. Best faculties and well equipped labs are here. A lot of modern devices in labs are regularly updated

Internships Opportunities

Internship is provided . This year, we are told that a company will come from west Bengal to give internship . Thus will be my qst internship. There was no any internship in 1st year

Placement Experience

No idea about average packages. But, many companies visis our campus every year and hire a lot of students. Last year highest package was 15 lakhs of an IT student.

College Events

Event are akso fgreat here. Freshers party, farewell party, annual fest, victory celebration. All are a paet of events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is approx 5 lakhs. Fee is taken yearly wise. Any delay in the submission of fee will results in late payment fine. No mercy on fine. They will take it at any cost.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is given to a few students. Mainly, whose academic performance is quite well and who are fron SC and ST category.

Campus Life

Extra activities are some games , and programs related to engineering like workshop organisation, product launch activities, English spoken drama etc.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are awesome. Good food quality, free internet, laundry, security and all the necessary things. Hostel fee is 1 lakhs per annum for 3 seater.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior junior interaction is low here. All are busy in their own work. Classes of all years are organised in different blocks. May be this is the reason.

Exam Structure

Exams are as per aktu basis. Two sessional exam and one pre University test. Internal marks is given on the basis of these exam and also on your class performance.

Faculty

Faculties are great , highly qualified, skilled, friendly and very laborious. They complete their syllabus on time.revision classes are also organised.

Placement Experience:

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

Reality of NIET plot 19

I will say it's one of the top college under Aktu . Better than other Aktu colleges in few terms like it is autonomous so it has a bit different syllabus and my college focuss on formal talking and technical communication from 1st semester so that the students are ready for facing interviews. In terms of infrastructure, I don't like it much as it in more like a school than a college and the hostels are terrible, you will get ill always .
