BITS pilani is one of the best engineering institutes in the country. The campus is huge, placements great and environment very calm. The only difficulty a student faces is that Pilani is a small remote place hence, there is no place to hang out outside the college campus.

For Entrance in any BITS college, you have to appear for BITSAT examination, your score must be above 340 to enter BITS PILANI - Pilani Campus, also a good score in boards are required. There is no interview process for admission. I am currently pursuing Mechanical Engineering as physics has always been my favorite subject.

Bits Pilani is a Haven for knowledge and learning. The students of this college are taught the core of each and every subject with practical knowledge given the first priority. Research and Development is promoted, students are encouraged for taking up initiatives to produce research papers. There are many electives available other than the tech subjects. Non technical electives are an option.

The college does provide internship, summer, winter internship programmes are held, students are made to select there companies, 1-2 month internships are done. Stipend paid is about 5-10K per month depending on the company. Overall experience is great of working outside in a different city, learning new things, experiencing the real jobs.

The Placement Scenario of BITS PILANI is Tense. Students suited-booted to participate in the rat race of getting a good job. Placements are great every year with about 70-80% students getting placed. The average package is around 8-9lpa but it also depends on the branch and companies. Big companies like Amazon, Flipkart, L&T come for placements, almost every student gets an opportunity to sit for the placements.

Oasis is one of the largest culfests of India. It's huge!! The atmosphere is so fun and groovy in those days. The footfall is huge! The second largest cultural fest of India, Oasis, is a four day frolic escapade from hectic and monotonic schedule of college. Held by BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus, it makes one cherish each moment turned into a memory! It's the #2 largest Culfest of the country. Other than that BOSM is the sports fest and Apogee the techfest of the college. All the tests are organised by the students themselves which makes it all the more better!

The fees is quite high, but the facilities provided are at par with the fees. The admission fees is about 32,000/-. The first semester fees is high the average fees per semester being around 1,50,000/-. Additional fees for student Union etc are added.

College does provide scholarship for meritorious students. Student loans are available from Banks. I don't have much knowledge about this system.

Our college encourages all the extracurricular activities! With the campus being this huge and beautiful, maximum benifits are given to the students. Press club, sports club, managerial clubs are there. Every sports ground is available, be it cricket, basketball, tennis etc. Ample of opportunities are given to the students and the faculties are very supportive and encouragjng.

The hostel facilities are great, provided the hostel fees is high, it's around 35K-40K. There are 2 sharing rooms as well as single rooms available. AC facilities are provided in some hostel blocks. The mess food is not tasty but is healthy. We prefer eating at the college canteen. Hostel rooms are comfortable, with good facilities and sanitation.

Aluminum information is available easily, there are groups where we can chat with the alumni, any help required for placements or fests, there are ready to help.

Exams, tests, quizzes are held regularly keeping the student's mind working hard all the time. This also inculcates good time management and learning habits in students. The tests help prepare well for the exams.

Highly Qualified, Masters in their respective fields, and pure geniuses are three terms that can describe the faculties of BITS. They make learning easy and make sure that each student learns the curriculum. The standard of teaching is excellent. BITS is known for it's standards in engineering and thus is one of the best Universities in India.
