Indus University is a mixture of fun and discipline.

Indus University is quite strict and disciplined when it comes to teaching and studying. Attendance criteria is taken very Seriously. But it is also fun for students and provides a great learning experience.

For getting into this college, one needs to appear for JEE. And should take their boards seriously, as it comes under ACPC wherein 60% of JEE marks and 40% of boards in taken into consideration for the ranks. On the basis of which you get your stream. It is basically based on one's merit. I chose EC engineering, as it is something that interests me.

EC is a fast growing field in India, there is alot of job opportunities in this field. Lab sessions are conducted in out college for practical knowledge, lab Examinations are also held every semester and is taken very seriously.

College encourages to take up internships, the faculties are supportive and help you in every way possible. Internships although are not offered by the college, students can search and do internships on their own.

The average salary offered is around 3-4lpa, the highest being around 8lpa. Around 40-50% students get placed every year for engineering . Companies like Adani, TCS, Wipro are major recruiter.

Technical and Cultural fests are organised every year by the students themselves. The technical event of our college is Instincts held each February. Aethos is another fest organised by the college. There are sports fests too. The University supports these events and provide help as much as possible.

The fees is a nominal amount of 41,000/- per semester, I believe it is a little high, the hostel and mess charges are excluded from this fees amount.

Loans are offered by the bank, scholarships are provided on a merit basis by the college. You have to consult the University office for the same.

The college encourages extracurricular activities. Various clubs organise various events for different activities, be it sports or literature there is an event for every field. Students actively participate and follow there passion. Indus University football team is one of the best team of the city colleges.

Exams are held every semester. Mid semester examinations, followed by lab Examinations and at the semester end is the final semester Examinations. The process is tiring. Apart from these students are made to do assignments and projects so the schedule becomes hectic .

Faculties are well versed with what they are teaching. They hold degrees from various prestigious institutions across the country like IITs and NITs etc. They are very supportive as well as guide us properly. It was never an issue to take up anything new as they always encouraged in all activities. Teachers bring PowerPoint presentation for better understanding.
